One Year Pictures

It's a must to document your baby's first year... so here is Cooper's "official" 1-year old picture. It's amazing to me that it's already been a whole year! I remember how excited/nervous I was when the time approached to finally meet our little boy and now I can't imagine our life without him. Randy and I both agree that we had no idea we were missing out on one of the most wonderful and fulfilling roles you can ever try and fill: being a parent.

Look who is 1!!

Happy 1st Birthday to Cooper! It was last Tuesday (13th of May) but even though we were having a party for him (ok, when your kid is only 1 it's really a party for you) on Saturday we couldn't let the day go by without some cake in his face. Randy was so proud because he picked up that chocolate-frosted cupcake and proudly smashed it all into his mouth. Not pointing any fingers but he didn't learn to eat by watching me - haha. Coop's been able to stand up by himself and will move with furniture for some time now, but last week he really started taking steps by himself. I'm already dreading the day when he grows up and moves out :( I guess we moms must enjoy them while we have them. Though my mom thinks I might change my tune once Cooper learns to back-talk. Never, I say.

Oh what fun... in Utah

I know, I know. We've been home over a week and still no new postings. So here are a few pictures and tales of adventure from our trip to visit the family in so. Utah. First is a picture of Grandma Clark with Cooper in the backyard. We spent so much time outside! It was WONDERFUL!

Then came our adventures in the pool (video in previous post) and this is by far the cutest picture of Cooper with the mo-hawk. Then his Uncle Andy tried to give the first guitar lesson.

That's Grandpa McAffee.. still waiting for his dentist (who obviously never works) to fit him with his new tooth. I still say you might at well leave it until after Halloween at this rate, Dad. Next is Cooper with his cousins, Tyler-2.5 and Trevor-5, scrunched in the back seat for a trip to the Children's Museum. And there I am with my two good friend, Sarah and Heidi - love you girls!!
Of course, the reason we made the trip in the first place - that's right - all for you Mike!! Congrats to the new SUU Graduate!!
I'll post a few more pics in the near future: thanks to all who made our trip wonderful, we already miss everyone :)
